It’s no wonder that Ashland, Ore., a small town of 20,000 people, sometimes “feels” very Jewish. No, you won’t find a shul on every corner, but you can still enjoy “shul-hopping” on Shabbos. Ashland boasts three thriving synagogues with about 450 affiliated families. The Havurah Shir Hadash, affiliated with the Renewal Movement is adjacent to Aleph Springs. A few minutes away by car, you’ll find the Reform Temple Emek Shalom and the Chabad Center of Southern Oregon.
